Workshop & course payment plans

Payment plans for workshops and courses

Let participants commit to a workshop, course or training programme by spreading the fee across simple monthly instalments. PlanPacer collects the first payment and schedules the rest, so you fill seats without manual invoices or reminders.

The manual workaround

How course fees get split today

Upfront fee blocks sign-ups

A full course or workshop fee paid at once turns away people who would happily pay monthly.

Invoices are manual

Payment links, reminders and reconciliation all rely on you remembering each one.

Subscriptions feel wrong

A finite course fee is not an ongoing membership, so a subscription tool fits awkwardly.

Tracking is messy

Without one view, it is hard to see who has paid which instalment.

How PlanPacer helps

Finite instalments with an end date

Set the split

Choose two, three or four monthly instalments for the course fee.

Send one link

Participants pay the first instalment and see the full schedule before they commit.

Collect automatically

PlanPacer charges each instalment on schedule and retries failed payments.

See every place

Track paid and upcoming instalments across your cohort in one view.

Straight answers

Quick answers for buyers

How do payment plans help courses fill more seats?

Many people can afford a course monthly but not in one payment. Offering three or four dated instalments removes the upfront barrier, so more of your enquiries convert into paid enrolments without discounting the fee.

How do I collect monthly instalments automatically?

You set the number of monthly payments when you create the plan. The participant pays the first instalment on a checkout link, and PlanPacer collects the remaining payments on the same date each month until the fee is fully paid.

Can I offer instalments without using a third-party provider or becoming a lender?

Yes. PlanPacer is a scheduling tool, not a money provider. Participants pay you directly through Stripe on the dates you agreed. PlanPacer does not lend money and does not pay you upfront.

Frequently asked questions

Can I split a course fee into monthly payments?

Yes. Choose two, three or four instalments and PlanPacer collects each one on schedule.

Do participants need an account?

No. They pay through a hosted checkout link and can view their schedule via a private link.

What happens if a payment fails?

PlanPacer retries the payment automatically and notifies you so you can follow up if needed.

Can the plan finish before the course starts?

Yes. You choose the dates, so instalments can complete before or during the course.

Can I use this with my existing sign-up process?

Yes. Keep your current booking form or page, then send a PlanPacer link when someone enrols.

Does this work for coaching and multi-week programmes?

Yes. It suits any finite fee you want to spread across a set number of payments.
